A special event hosted by
NORTH SHORE FAIR MAPS

North Shore Fair Maps is proud to host this special, virtual screening of Can You Hear Us Now?, a  powerful film that shows the personal and political impact in Wisconsin of anti-democratic policies and one of the most gerrymandered state legislative maps in the country.

The film is particularly relevant for us in 2021 when redistricting, at federal and state levels, looms large in Wisconsin.

Sign up and watch the film any time between August 6 and August 9, then join the post-screening conversation August 9 at 7PM CT, when we’ll be talking about gerrymandering, representation, and how the time is right for people to “hear us now!”

About North Shore Fair Maps

NORTH SHORE FAIR MAPS is a strictly nonpartisan group of ordinary Wisconsin citizens set out to #EndGerrymandering.

No matter our differences, most of us want pretty similar things. In 2011, certain politicians pulled off a secret power grab that rigged our legislative maps. They divided our communities. They silenced our voices. They adopted legislation Wisconsinites did not want. Today citizens everywhere are standing together to demand fair maps.

NSFM’s leadership team is centered in the north shore Milwaukee area. We are part of the Wisconsin Fair Maps Coalition. We love our state and our country and believe in representative democracy. We are part of a national movement. And we know what it means to pledge allegiance to a republic. It means every vote should be counted … and should count.

Working together, we can fix this.
